According to IRNA news agency, on Tuesday 7th February 2023, Iran unveiled a state-of-the-art underground air force base named “Eagle 44”. This cutting-edge facility is said to be the first of its kind, large enough to accommodate fighter jets and is considered to be one of Iran’s most crucial air force bases. The base has been constructed underground and houses fighter aircraft equipped with powerful long-range cruise missiles.
